Reflections

Reflections

These reflections explore the philosophy and practice that shape my work.
Some are written, others are offered as recorded reflections, and all are created slowly and added over time.

Reflections from the Akashic Records

Written Reflections

Reflections on working with the Akashic Records over time.

Recorded Reflections

You're invited to slow down.

Grab a cup of tea or coffee, settle in, and listen whenever you're ready.

Some of these reflections are recorded outdoors. If you hear birds, passing airplanes, or the occasional neighborhood sound, they've simply become part of the moment.

First Encounters with the Akashic Records

The Akashic Records are often described as a source of spiritual guidance and insight. But more than anything, they are a space of listening, a place where we can return to reconnect with the deeper truth of who we are.

This short series of reflections offers a gentle introduction to the spirit of the Records.

Each recording explores a different aspect of the work: what it feels like to enter the Records, the compassionate perspective they offer, and the relationship that develops over time with the wisdom that supports our lives.

You may listen to these reflections in order, or simply begin with whichever one calls to you.

There's nothing you need to understand or achieve while listening.

Simply allow the reflections to create a quiet space for curiosity, listening, and remembering.

The Kind of Student This Work Calls Forward

Audio Reflection | 4 min 40 sec

Over the years, I've noticed that the students who feel most at home in this work often share certain qualities, values, and ways of approaching their spiritual path. Rather than adding a longer list, I recorded a brief reflection.

The Two-Second Answer

Audio Reflection | 5 min 13 sec

A client asked me how I was doing recently, and for a brief moment I considered how to answer. Not because I wanted to be dishonest, but because the truthful answer would have taken far longer than the moment allowed. This reflection explores the invisible lives we carry, the stories that don't fit into a two-second response, and the sacred opportunity to hold space for what is often left unseen.

What Do the Records Want Me to Know?

Audio Reflection | 5 min 40 sec

"What are my soul's purposes?"

"What do the Records want me to know?"

These are two of the most common questions I hear from new clients. They're sincere questions, and yet over the years, I've found them surprisingly difficult to answer at the beginning of a reading.

In this reflection, I explore why context matters, why purpose is often revealed through our lives rather than separate from them, and why one of my favorite questions has become:

"What's going on?"

Do I Trust Myself to Meet Reality as It Unfolds?

Audio Reflection | 6 min 39 sec

Lately, I’ve been wondering whether self-trust has less to do with making the right decision and more to do with our willingness to meet life as it unfolds.

This reflection explores the relationship between freedom, uncertainty, and the capacity to remain present when we don’t know exactly what comes next.

Why I Began... and Why I Stayed

Audio Reflection | 8 min 4 sec

Many of us begin a spiritual path hoping that something in our lives will change.

Looking back over more than thirty years, I can see that every doorway I walked through brought me exactly where I needed to be. What surprised me wasn't that life became perfect, but that my relationship with myself and with life quietly transformed along the way.

This reflection is about why I began... and why I stayed.

These reflections offer a gentle introduction to the spirit of the Akashic Records.
